Pause For Peace in Silience

"The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows is a compendium of all the aches, demons, vibes, joys and urges that roam the wilderness of the psychological interior. The author’s mission is to harpoon, bag and tag wild sorrows then release them gently back into the subconscious.

All words in this dictionary are new. They were not necessarily intended to be used in conversation, but to exist for their own sake; to give a semblance of order to a dark continent, so you can settle it yourself on your own terms, without feeling too lost—safe in the knowledge that we’re all lost.

Paws, woof, wolf howls pours pause

This Full Season Cycles,

eddy rises be calmed before storm, 

pause, Luna, lush lights

witness observe in her tumultuous surface sea, 

depth trenchant, 

dive down on soft briny lockers 

pearl lip lies fallow in cultured bud hiding 

fertile ocean floor silted, remains finely free.

breathe, 

praise, rise, 

pours more life as

still eye of fire burns, 

slow, white, rich 

a penetrating vertical heat,

wisp rises like mist well, come signal this hearth

in morning the mourning each ember dies to dust.

earth centre core forward

volcano slow flow a shaking momentum,

pause pent up curt whistle 

as cobb steam vents sensual in soft desire.

heat hisses this pressure 

fissure inviting release

come fire flooding as brim tip erupts.

lava rising and running and cooling 

creating fresh nascent lands

in demure denouement pearl hidden know more.

holy pores, 

pour

rest, rise, recover as stars sleep over nights

sons and moons and life tide risens and then sets,

elementary life, 

momentous pours, 

and then death,

pause, seed a gain, 

rise tree as slow rings grow, 

fully erected within,

paws, simply scratch soft surface, 

dig dug haste for fools gold.
