Always Was Always Will Be

January 26 is a day to stand alongside First Nations peoples calling for change.

The date represents dispossession, oppression, genocide, ecocide and loss.

For many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people,
it is a day of mourning and a commemoration of hundreds of years
of survival and resistance.

The fight to protect nature is strongest when it is guided by First Nations voices,
knowledge and wisdom.

Today is a critical time to stand in solidarity.

The future we fight for is only possible with land & water rights and
self-determination for First Nations peoples.

How to show support on Jan 26 -

> Attend an Invasion Day/Survival Day/Day of Mourning event

> Pay the rent – make donations to First Nations peoples and causes

> Listen and amplify First Nations voices
