To Love and Be Loved. It is That Simple.

"When we are guarding our hearts and protecting ourselves from getting hurt, or defending our freedom by avoiding depth and intimacy we really have to ask ourselves what we are really preserving when we turn away from connection.
Healing our attachment wounds is possible, it may feel terrifying and the mind may convince you it’s not safe to let love in, but love is why we are here.
Not everyone is going to walk the path of romantic partnership or marriage but there are so many ways to experience deep friendship with another in this lifetime and there’s nothing more healing than returning to the roots of our humanity."

My prayers is that each of us may find our way back to love.
That we may finally let go of all the hiding, defending and running
and trying not to be hurt so that we can surrender to the only truth there is.

That to be human is to know heartbreak and loss,
but in the end, love is all there is.

That love is worth it, love is safe, love is home.
There is nothing more worth it than letting ourselves be loved and seen.

I pray that those who are blocking their hearts and keeping love
at a distance may finally find peace and rest easy
in the warm embrace of secure connection.
To spirit, to self, to the Beloved.

This life is too precious to waste on hiding,
let it in love, this is it.

Allow yourself to experience all of the beauty
and mystery this life has to offer.
