Vedantic knowledge is internally oriented, transcends name and number, looks for internal verification in meditation and samadhi, unmediated by any instrument.
The inner light of Consciousness is reflected and reduced through the mind into the brain, losing its Self-effulgence. We forget our immortal Self and imagine we are a limited physical being operating through the senses. We must remember our true essence beyond time and space.
